Sparkol refuse any refund for Videoscribe, Very disappointing
Simple. I missed their renewal advisory emails (and why would I remember the name sparkol from a year ago when I purchased a product called videoscribe from fastspring for £72).
I asked them to cancel the subscription and refund me, They refused to refund even 1 penny or cent.
So essentially, I purchased videoscribe for £72 for a year, didn't use it more than once or twice, didnt publish anything, and have now been forced to pay for an extra years subscription at £120. No wonder customer's 1 star ratings are 87% of the total...
I personally find this quite exploitative.
Unfortunately, ratings for the company are not associated with the product.
If these complaints appeared on Google every time new leads typed in videoscribe, sparkol would soon change their policy!

So simple EVEN Blind People can use this
Hi as most of you are aware I am Blind, therefore, I have to use the PC with specialized audible software but I will never allow my disabilities to overshadow my abilities.
VideoScribe is a fantastic piece of software - it's an animated video maker and the last thing you'd be expecting Blind people to use.
I help out in a nearby blind Club, some of the members have some sight so I suppose I should have said Visually impaired Peoples club (VIP club because as everyone knows VIP = Visually Impaired People) Now these kids wanted a unique way to send their parents and me a Christmas card - enter Sparkol thanks to this wonderful software and literally hundreds of Templates these VIPs have achieved their target and made loads of cards

The software they provide is extremely crappy
The software they provide is extremely poor quality and crashes all the time. It lacks many features that are needed to make any useful videos. Completely useless. Adding voice to it is extremely hard. Reminds of windows 98!!! Extremely rude customer service. Rude and unhelpful customer service.

If I could give 0 stars I could. The program is not friendly at all, everything takes forever to make on it. I had two accounts a personal and a school one, when they sent me the renewal, I cancelled it. They charged me on my personal, that I hadn't used in 11 months. I complained and explained the confusion they said,too bad, it's not refundable. The program was good enough to use, but not excellent. If I ever consider renewing it later, with that costumer service, they lost me.

Agree completely with the other reviews. Absolutely horrible company. Don't buy this service, there are much better alternatives.
They auto-renewed my yearly subscription (EUR 188) and refuse to cancel it. I proposed that they could deduct a one month fee and refund the rest but they don't respond .anymore.
Do not do business with these people. Do not waste your money here, its not worth it.

Don't buy this service
Don't buy this service, there's much better alternatives at a lower cost + I am also a victim of the non-cancellable auto-renewal payment, there should be at least a period of 48h to give you time to cancel it, take care!

DO NOT USE SPARKOL! They auto-renewed my subscription and refuse to cancel it even after I went back forth with them several times. I went to dispute the charge with my bank, after which, SPARKOL not only did NOT refund me, but also cancel my access! This is illegal- I do not understand why this company is still in business, with a ton of other people complaining the same issue!

Terrible customer service
I attempted to cancel an auto-renewal that was processed 3 days into a a 365 day term, for an employee who had left our company 6 months earlier. The renewal reminder emails went to the former employee (ie nowhere). Sparkol would not refund anything. I asked if they would refund a prorated amount (11 of 12 months) but they refused. What a predatory company and a garbage approach to customer service!
Save your money
Agree completely with the other reviews. Absolutely horrible company that does not take the time to address your concerns. Subscription gets auto-renewed and they are inflexible even if you cancel just minutes after on the same day. Do not waste your money here, its not worth it.

Even a 1 star is wasteful for these thief.
I asked them to refund right the day after autopaid, becace i do not work fory former company. But "service center" said I agreed to their "terms" a year ago. I did not properly got reminder due to it is in my junk.
And brought my words against me instead of giving me any solutions.
This is the worst experience ever and i will never suggest this tool to any of my friends.
If you do not respect not only customers's right and just giving them humiliation you would not survive in the future.

This company automatically renewed my subscription without my permission. When I tried to get a refund they stonewalled me and refused saying that I agreed to perpetual renewals which I did not. Do not do business with these greedy scammers!

Nonrefundable to unknown automatic billing
they really make the automatic billing not apparent enough and the automatic billing should be changed in the customers own hands when they go to their own settings not when they are buying the products. Looking at the reviews it seems like I am not the only one. The fact that they are not changing says a lot

Videoscribe by Sparkol is a great application. There’s a bit of a learning curve as with any software, but not too difficult if you can drag n drop. Customer service is also great with friendly, fast and efficient response to tickets.

You need to cancel your subscription in a few steps. The application asks a bunch of times if I want to buy a pro version when canceling a subscription (complete nonsense). Unless you end up canceling your subscription and using the product, customer support will not cancel your subscription or refund your money. I am very disappointed, do not buy this product.

I had to pay for a full license to test what they claimed I could do. But after 5 days I found I couldn't, now they won't refund me for an application that doesn't do what they said it could.
